Turmeric prices dropped as no strong report emerged from the mandis as exports and domestic demand remained slack.
However downside seen limited on expectation of supply crunch in 2016, as the drought in Maharashtra and A.P has reduced the crop size by 30%.
Sources also stated that around 27-28 lakh bags of total stocks have been reported in local mandies.
